Few years agol we stayed at the Hilton, right on the beach and paid around $150 per night... when the exchange rate was better too...

For this years trip we fancied doing it again for a night or 2, though the price seems to of rocketed to approx $250, which is too much in my opinion. Nice but basic hotel for Hilton standards, perfect location but just a bit too much $$ when you are already paying for a villa too

Good question, it’s something I’d like to do if I go again.

We've stayed the previous two holiday for a couple of nights in the Hilton. As the pp said, it is in great location, with fab views over the beach. However, this year we are booked into Pierhouse 60. It was a 1/4 of the price of the Hilton! I just couldn't justify the difference. Perhouse 60 gets good reviews on the Dibb too.

Pelican pointe is OK, we had a suite it slept 6, it has great reviews, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again it seems to fill up very quickly. Our favourite is Pierhouse 60 we just had a double room here, great hotel, great location.

Island cay was pretty cheap and cheerful. Definitely good for a couple of nights and very close to the beach and the excellent Palm Pavilion restaurant
