Love the Chocolate Factory, seen many shows there.

Next to the Tabard is Arts Ed school which is also worth a watch.

I have a free night in London in July and was thinking about a show.
I've seen wicked in Cardiff 3 times and was debating going to the west end production. Anyone seen both and know how they compare?

I love Wicked but I have only seen it in Cardiff too as we rarely visit London. Personally if I was going to see a West End show I would probably prefer to see one I hadn’t seen before, possibly one of the newer ones that haven’t toured yet. Hope you have a great night out whatever you see, let us know what you decide 😀

So many great shows on at the moment. Try Come From Away, the most wonderful show I have seen lately.

Just back from seeing Dirty Dancing at the Kings theatre in Glasgow. We really enjoyed it and it was really well done. Loved the musicians live on stage and the dancers were amazing.

Jumping on this thread quite far in and haven't read it all so this may have already been discussed but what are people's views on going to watch amature and youth theatre productions? I have to admit I was a bit of a snob about it until my kids started to get in to it and now I find it a great way to see some shows at a really reasonable cost. I've seen Sound of Music recently and you would never have known it was not a professional touring show. My kids are going to be doing Seussical in July and there is some real talent in their group and for £12 a ticket it's a bargain.

Hairspray is my favourite. Seen it 6 times I think in various guises.
