I always remember being no older than 4 - My sister was in the bath, mum in the bathroom with her and I was looking out of the bedroom window and saw Santa flying on his sleigh in the sky! I always remember the feeling of excitement and magic. (Still don't know what it was, probs a plane) I went crazy shouting my mum to come look lol 😂. She played along saying I was so lucky to have seen - I felt very blessed
I love the magic it all brings to children

Edit. I tried to gloss over it but he knew and it was never the same again. His younger brother believed for a little bit longer.
My best friend turned to god about 7 years ago and she's very active in church life. She says that when she has children she will make sure they know that there's no such thing as Santa! I obviously didn't agree with her and hopefully she'll change her mind when/ if she ever has kids x

in our house all the presents came from father christmas, but they were all told father christmas could only afford gifts for children who had no mummy and daddy and to help him out, their dad and I sent money via the elves and father christmas chose their gifts so they had the fun of father christmas but understood that we had paid, andt also it helped if they saw something they wanted when holidaying in florida because it could be sent to father christmas for christmas

I hope Father Christmas manages to get in and out of all of the houses he’s visiting from the Dibb without any sightings!

I find the words "just cos he's magic" gets me out of a lot of difficult questions.

I can’t think of any films whey they suggest santa isn’t real, apart from the ones where there’s someone who doesn’t believe but at the end they’re proven to be wrong.

Gremlins does but I’m not sure what the age rating is and whether you’d class it as a Christmas movie. Maybe it’s too old for younger children to watch anyway?

Just checked this and at time of release was a 15 but got reclassified as a 12A...so in theory younger still believing children could watch it
