Anyone getting married this year or next?

We get married in 72 days, 23/3/19.

Venue is booked, dress bought, bridesmaid dresses bought, so it’s hair and make up trials next..

Exciting times..
Yaaay for 2019 weddings! We're getting married on the 6th July 2019 so not for 173 days!

If I'm being honest after the stress of wedding planning I'm more looking forward to the honeymoon at this point Hoping that changes when we're closer to the date and everything is booked and finalised!

Wishing you all the good luck for the rest of your planning!

Yes I think I’m looking forward more to the honeymoon again now!

My OH and I have very different opinions on how close the wedding is - in his mind it’s still ages away so our sense of urgency about things is a bit different, which can be frustrating!

I just want everything sorted... I’ll be delighted never to look at a table plan or guest list ever again!

We aren’t having our honeymoon yet, well we are having a mini moon in Paris 2 weeks after the wedding, which should be really lovely.

I do know what you mean though, it is all a bit stressful.

Would love to hear more about your wedding. Where are you having it and how many people etc? Do you have your dress yet?

Poor you. It is hard. My OH delights in telling everyone how easy and stress free the wedding planning has been. Well i’ve given him 2 jobs, the rings and the suits. And neither have been done yet. As apparently we have plenty of time.
Whereas I have been up to my eyeballs in spreadsheets 😂😂
Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Although mine was a Florida wedding last year the only thing OH had to do was sort out what he and my adult son were wearing. A month before I lost patience and marched him into a shop to try stuff on and decide. They looked great but he doesn't have a future in events planning !

Ours is 7.6.19, seemed ages away but it’s fast approaching.
Ours is a small family ceremony at Residence in Nantwich. Nothing traditional as we’re both divorced.
Fish and chips for wedding breakfast and pizza and Prosecco at night.
No speeches, only having a small cake with cupcakes around it.
My DD is giving me away although my dad will be present.
I’ve just seen my dress for the first time last weekend, it fits but I would like to lose a few pounds so it’s a bit loose around the tummy area.
Good everyone x

Yes exactly! Oh well from the sounds of it my OH is not the only one, at the risk of sounding sexist is it just a man thing? He literally said to me just get on with organising and then suddenly took a deep interest in the table plan but had no real suggestions other than to say he didn’t like my idea. For goodness sakes!

I’m trying to keep the bigger picture in mind, it is one meal out of everyone’s lives, I’m sure we can all manage!

We are going to Florida at the start of May for our honeymoon, my OH’s first ever trip
