I use a UK bank account to pay mine (Starling). No fees and I put a monthly amount aside each month, then pay every January.

We usually use XE but the rate has been poor so used Transfer wise just last week & got a rate of $1,30.
Might have to have a look at Revolut for my next transfer.

We get stung every year in Ireland, sending wire transfers.costs €15 from my bank and another $15 (could be more now) at Suntrust! As my balance will soon be under $500, i'm going to get caught for fees too! Are you sure about the $100 a month transfer? If thats the case, I'd be better off trying to do this as it will allow me to avoid both the bank charges and the fees! I wonder if I can arrange that every month with wiretransfer or XE? I really dont want to use my debit or credit card (they'll def incur bank charges). I'm kind of old fashioned and dont have an online bank account!

Oh and 1 more thing. I just read that Suntrust are to merge with another financial institution by the end of this year, so that may change things around a bit!

Does anyone know if suntrust banking is still available at MCO airport? I know they have ATMS there BUT is the actual banking hall (staffed) still there?
