Disembarking in Miami, what to do before flight with luggage?

Hi, we will be coming off the ship in the morning and our flight home from Miami isn't until around 4pm. We will have all our luggage, does anyone have any suggestions to pass the time (or what to do with luggage). I'm thinking I may need to get a dayroom, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Day room might be an option. I've stayed at the Pullman and Hilton both near the airport. There isn't a hotel at the airport itself like it Orlando so you have to get transport either from the port directly or from the airport via their free buses.

Depending on your cruiseline thought they might offer a tour option. I did this on DCL and it was great as meant I wasn't just sat around all day. Here's the one I did - disneycruise.disney.go/p...bookings-only/

We did the hop on hop off bus tour booked via our cruise. They store your luggage for you and when you have finished you go back to the drop off point, and they transfer you to the airport. Probably not the cheapest option but it was easy and we got to see some of Miami!

I looked at the tours organised by the ship and our flight leaves at 5 so we wouldn't be back at airport in time. I'm thinking a day room, would we be allowed 6 in a room? It's just for luggage so we can go to pool

We are in the same situation and booked one days car hire (suv, full insurance, 2 drivers, full tank of fuel) for £54 - collect at cruise port and drop off at miami. We are planning to visit the huge outlet sawgrass mills for some bargains

Good idea, we are going to the shops when we stop in Miami mid cruise so doubt we'll have any money left for shops

I'm thinking a day room may be the way to go, just not sure if we will need a room for us and a room for my parents or if they won't care. It's just a place to leave the luggage while we sit at the pool to pass the time.

With the hoho you choose when you headed to the airport so it didn't matter the flight time so much. I think they had transport to the airport every hour from around 1pm.
