Seems a strange logic putting prices up if they are then going to slash the prices with threats of cancellation where they end up with the customer paying less not more

most customers put up with the increase

they couch it as "only" £2 on family pack, £1 on movies... all separate out... so people go "is that all?"

i guess they work on the same logic as car insurance renewels, they assume most punters cant be bothered to ring/shop around & just blindly renew/agree to the price rise

We have two EE contracts and have had an email about increases. We are with Sky too so will be waiting for that and the dreaded council tax too

We deemed Sky too expensive, irrespective of them dangling the carrot, and stick, we cancelled Sky in 2008, Freeview is adequate, currently we don't pay for a TV licence (increase to £150.50 from 1st April) but that may change.

It's true, I'm always amazed how many people just let it roll on,I've had to actively coax people to let me put them through to offers when they just let it go. It's a whole different mindset.

Oooh - Is there a way to avoid paying it? Eg if you are online or streaming. Or is it down to personal circumstances? If so, please ignore the nosiness.
