Just seen a few answers on here saying Walmart has free wifi. Just want to make sure for OP that this is definitely the case as it wasn't in 2017. We had a nightmare time. We automatically assumed a big store like Walmart would have free wifi so went there by uber from POR and then realised our mistake. We were literally stranded there for a couple of hours, very very stressful and not a position I would want anyone else to be in.

My husband went for a walk leaving me and the kids literally sat on the floor in the clothing department with the trolley trying to get nearby wifi to no avail. We asked at the tech desk and the only thing we could do was to but a sim card with data which I think was $45. A kind customer even felt sorry for us and offered to hotspot us but we needed internet to know the uber had arrived etc so we politely declined.

Even after buying the sim card, it wouldn't work. After another half hour of the staff fiddling with our phone and making calls to the support people, we eventually got it sorted and ordered our uber. I can't begin to explain how stressful the whole ordeal was.

We had every intention of sorting internet before we left the UK and were probably going to get the 3 at home sim but unfortunately had a nightmare time in the leadup to our trip, including a frantic dash to the passport office in London 2 days before we flew so we never got round to it. We're going back in August and will definitely be sorting internet before we leave :-)

Sounds awful, but why didn't you just pay a bit more to catch a Mears taxi from the car park taxi rank? We did that one year as couldn't get the Uber app to work.

Every Walmart we went to in September had it in the foyer but it didn't extend to the carpark.

Wow! What a nightmare, could the supermarket not just call you a regular taxi though?

We will be using garden grocer. They will deliver to resort. We’ve used them twice in the past. Ordered 60 days before arrival to get 10% discount. It’s great for milk, snacks, alcohol ect...

What happens when it gets to resort, do you have to collect it from bell services? Do you have to wait in for a delivery slot?

We never even thought of that!

We were Disney first timers and first timers abroad. We got there by uber and with the stress just didn't think of there being another way to get back again!

At risk of sounding sarcastic, because I don't want to be, but I genuinely don't understand why you would not have thought of a taxi. No matter how many times you have been to Disney, you must have heard of taxis before surely, they have a much longer history than uber. I am really baffled by this story.
