Hi All,

So many variables I thought I would turn to Dibbers for advice.

We went to wdw Oct 2018 & May 2014. Loved both & were planning for Oct 2020.
However the prices we can see already going up lots from May 2020.
We are from the UK.
We looked at Oct 2019 but would be 23rd which is approx 6 weeks after Galactic Edge opens in HS. Hubby & son both love Star Wars but the crowds are likely to be madness ?
Other option 15th Feb, but Presidents’ Day on 17th and I’ve heard the weekend before & actual day are mad busy.

Please tell me which you would choose and why ?

Ps son is currently 12, loves Disney & Star Wars. We are only doing Disney & for a week. We have done the week only twice before & loved it I cannot do any longer due to sons school hols.

Help ! Oh and thanks for reading !

I would choose Feb because of Star Wars crowds and the fact the second ride may not be open by then.

Thanks so far, we’ve never been at a busy time or during a holiday so I don’t know how busy it can yet. Only been May, Sept & Oct.

As Run, we were there from the 10th-24th Feb this year Presidents day weekend was in the middle of our stay. We moved to a Disney hotel on the Friday and took a bus to MK on the Sat we could see the traffic backed up at the car park ticket booths, 1 guy told me it went right back to the I4 and that the park was close to capacity. Yes it was busy but apart from 1 chilly day, the weather was mid to high 20s and glorious. We made good use of FPs and the crowds didn't bother us. Seaworld, Busch and Aquatica were pretty much empty the week before PD.

It seems there are no really quiet times these days and Disney put events or offers on to attract guests all year, there was a Disney Run event the following weekend, which seemed popular.

We are going 28th October 2019, 14 nights Beach Club. I wouldn't overthink it, either will be great!

We always go in Feb, and are planing another trip next year too! The weather suits us and the crowds are definitely more manageable!
