If you mean from the internet or call centre staff then yes. Neither are the horses mouth.
It may well happen this time but there has to be a compelling event which hasn't previously occured. The option is always there which is their plan |

That was the only thing I missed when I left Virgin and it grinds my gears when the good matches are on BT and not Sky and I can't see them.
Hope they offer a good deal to loyal Sky customers when they bring it it, not prepared to pay £35 for one channel

Big company, and not every employee knows what they are doing and how business works. In most cases make zip difference if someone works for a company if they aren't working in a very specific area.
I know trade secrets for parts of the business I work for, doesn't mean I know what they will do next. Many statements of intent have been made, dynamics change and so does the decision That's in any organisation. Hopefully they will do something this time, but it's been the same several years running now and talked about inside both organisations but not come to anything. Business dynamics have to be right, signing an agreement of intent is no guarantee. Edited at 03:27 PM. |

We have BT Broadband Unlimited @ £5 (not fibre) with a BT landline @ £21.99. We have BT Sport HD through Sky @ £9 (£6 + £3 for HD) to watch MotoGP and IndyCar. We pay Sky @ £37. Last month BT lost IndyCar to Sky Sports F1. We would be paying BT @ £9 for MotoGP, which was OK. BT sent us a letter to inform us BT Sport was increasing, and also the cost to watch in HD was going up. BT Sport @ £15 (4 months free for new customers) plus BT Sport HD @ £6 (4 months free for new customers). Quite a jump from £9 to £21. Even Sky don't charge to watch sports channels in HD now. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with BT during which time they tried hard to sell BT TV and BT Fibre, going through their 'steps', they eventually offered BT Sport @ £9 plus BT Sport HD @ £3, so long as we agreed to renew for 18 months. That's still too much (£144) just to watch MotoGP so we have cancelled BT Sport from 1st April. |
