Energy companies - not the big 6

Hi all,

anyone using an energy company that is not the big six.

Looking to change and uswitch & moneysupermarket have the big six but also loads like,

"so energy"
"Pure planet"
"Bulb"
"octopus"

Energy is energy right, but what about customer service, billing, and digital experience.

Cheers all

I am with So energy. They're perfectly acceptable for what you need from a company.

I'm in the process of changing from Eon to Octopus got a £50 credit for me and a friend who recommended them. I think they appeared on martins money tips.

I’m with Avro energy, I’ve not had to contact them so can’t comment on customer service.
If it’s cheaper, then why not, energy is energy.

Edited to add, I give an online meter reading each month and my payment is adjusted accordingly.

Pure planet, 100% green energy, and half the cost of what we were paying with Eon, and Bulb.
Highly recommend them.

I'm looking at bulb, they were recommended by a friend who thinks they are brilliant and are also one of the featured deals in the MSE email from yesterday.

Can't fault Bulb. Green energy, cheaper than all the rest and good customer services. If you know someone that is with them they can refer you and you both get £50.

Used People Energy and Flow. Customer service much better than EDT, British Gas etc, I guess bigger companies can afford to treat small customers like dirt, where as new small companies need you...

my parents are with avro energy can I ask when you receive your bills? they have been with since July and haven't received one bill yet. I have contacted the company but have no response yet.
Before that they were with economy energy which were totally shocking and I could never recommend them.
