Would you go for a weekend?

Ok, my son is in the USA half way through a 5 week tour with his band, he rolls into Atlanta Friday 29th March and this is the only date I can make. We would fly out late Thursday/early Friday and fly back late Saturday

The question is would you go?

We do fly out to Miami early-April but he will be in Ireland/Netherlands by then.

I think it may be a little too much to do?

Yes absolutely
I've done Vegas for a weekend, Atlanta is a hop by comparison.
Farewise flying back Sunday is likely to be cheaper though so if fares are ridiculous try the Sunday return.

I must be an unloving parent. If you are suggesting flying out from the UK and then return for two days tops then personally not a chance (unless it was the last time I would ever see him)

If the money wasn’t an issue, yes. It would be tiring but I would want to see my son playing in the US. How proud you must be, would we have heard of his band? Well done to him 😀

Yeah, go for it, its only a 8 hour flight. It will be a tough few days but you can sleep on the way home
