Hi
I have booked tickets for them both along with the trolley tour they had a combo package so the price wasn’t too bad!
Thank you for all your help I am looking forward to it!
Anyone looked for sharks teeth in St Augustine and the best place to find them

Any other must sees whilst there?
We will have 2.5 days(3 nights) and need to fit in shark teeth hunting as we missed it last year where near Venice and DH has not stopped moaning that he didnt do it
OK, I've tried to re-post the video. It should work now.

As regards other must-sees, the Castillo de San Marco is a great place to visit (especially for the cannon-firing display) and we also like the Whetstone Chocolate Factory (and tasting tour!). The Fountain of Youth is one of the obvious places to visit, but there's also the Historic Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, as well as St George Street, which is full of interesting shops and curiosities. Realistically you need at least 2 full days to see most of it.

Thx Simon. Do you pay to get into Castillo de San Marco and where could I find the schedule for the cannon firing? I couldn’t find the information on the website

Know you have read my trip report days to St Augustine

There is loads to do and to be honest we missed stuff that added extra costs. The whole place itself just deserves time, space and no matter what you fit in, you will yearn to return.

We soaked in the whole atmosphere of the old town and absorbed the historic old town.

Your countdown is looking amazing

Hey
Need to go back to read it. I think I was swaying to dropping a day and getting back to be near the Mouse ha but after these comments I’m sticking with the original plan. I can’t wait... yours isn’t looking too bad either.

Yes, there is a $15 fee per person for the Castillo (under 16s get in free with an adult), and the cannon firing is usually every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the year at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., and at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m.
