Overnight at universal question!

We’ve never been to Universal but are planning to on our 3 week holiday next year.

We’re thinknig about an overnight stay in one of the hotels that give you express passes. Are the three hotels much of a muchness? RPR looks cheapest?

What’s the drill with checking in and early entry - is it for both days either side of your night?

What about the express passes? Are the for both days too?

We’ve stayed at RPR last time and again in Aug, really nice hotel and not far to walk from the parks. The last time we got to the hotel at about 0700 checked in and got the express passes. Early entry was on both days.

Yes both days are covered , we checked in about 8 on the first day and put cases in the reception area then the next day checked out and again left the cases at the front desk and then collected them when we got the uber back to Disney, al, really easy, and the FOLP were great especially for around all the Harry potter areas I think gringotts was around a 70 min wait we were on in about 20 min

As per other posts doing HRH in 8 weeks time cant wait lat time at PBH was worth every penny checked in at 7am left 8pm next day 2days express worked well

I don’t think the hotels are much of a muchness, I think they are distinct. I have stayed in two of them, RPR and Portifino, I will not ever stay at the other, HRH, as I do not like the theme.

With the FOLP - can you use them for both days on any rides in either park?

Assuming you have two park tickets then yes, you can use it wherever you are.

We are exactly the same! I have friends who stayed at HRH and they said it was very noisy.

Our favourite is PBH, we have had a club room in both RPR and PBH. We loved PBH but RPR is beautiful too.

Of the 2 I would always choose PBH is the price was right

Glad I read this! I am trying to convince OH that staying over night at RPR is cheaper than buying fast passes. He was saying it was pointless as we probably wouldn't be able to check in in time to utilise the early entry on both days. Proven him wrong now! xx

Booked my one night at HRH on the 23rd May.

Will be checking in early and using early entry to volcano bay
