Same benefits at all three hotels but down to personal preference. We prefer the PBH a lot quieter than HRH and RPR.

All 3 hotels are wonderful.

We like PBR the best and then RPR. HRH is great as well though.

For a 1 night stay I would choose the cheapest. Spend the day hammering the parks with your Express, spend the evening by the pool relaxing. Next morning go to Volcano Bay with early opening and then do the parks again!

Wonderful.

The hotels are quite different but when you are checking in for 1 night if you are anything like us you will be too busy to fully appreciate the hotel- its all about the FOLP/early access. RPR looked lovely but I didn't even see the pool. I'd choose the cheapest.
The walk from RPR to IOA was easy and picturesque, we occasionally got the water taxi back.
We found it really simple- we checked in to RPR before 8 had FOLP passes sorted and were ready for rope drop ( this was before HP fast passes). We had 2 separate 1 night bookings so 4 days of FOLP split over the 2 weeks.

It was brilliant- So this year we are doing a 4 night HRH stay. Looking forward to seeing a bit more of the resort.

We had a text when our room was ready- It was late unfortunately so I'm glad we weren't at VB wanting to get back for a shower.

Fully agree. For one night I go for cheapest hotel with FOLP. If I was staying a number of nights then it would be HRH with upgrade.

Agree with other posters - Universal hotels are distinct, but with a 1 night stay I doubt it would be a deal breaker if you didn't much care for the theme etc - the rooms are basically the same, PBH has larger rooms from what I remember, watching HRH tour the room seems same size as RPR.

RPR is usually the cheapest, so go with that unless another one comes up at a good price. It's a lovely chill hotel, has a great vibe and as someone said the walkway to the parks is a pleasure, we rarely bothered with the water taxi tbh especially on a morning when we were raring to go. Can recommend the Orchid lounge for a quick snack at breakfast to get up and running ASAP.

We've taken this approach too, for one night at HRH. Plan to be there for 0700, then head over to Volcano Bay for early hours entry. The hope is that our room will be available a little earlier than posted so we can shower and spend the rest of the day in the other parks with our FOLP, then the following morning will be early hours in Harry Potter World. It seems to make perfect sense in theory!

edit:
I also contacted Loews directly about hotel parking and they came back with this.

"Good morning,

Thank you for contacting Loews Hotels!

Our parking rates for overnight guests go based off of 11 pm each night. So for a two day one night stay it would be one time parking fee.

For example:
For 2019 our parking rates are $27 plus tax for self parking and $36 for valet parking.

For a 2 day 1 night stay, you would only be charged the $27 plus tax per night for your entire stay.

In regards to the Rock Royalty Lounge, kids are more than welcome to join you in the lounge.

Let us know if we can assist you further!"
