Florida Shark Diving Jupiter
Hi all
Has anyone ever gone out on the boat with FSD and swam with the sharks in the open sea? We are a shark loving family and I’m desperate to do this with DH and DS (14), but DH is concerned that it’s an irresponsible position to put DS in. I’ve read so much and FSD are a reputable company with well qualified and experienced people leading the dives. I’m looking to see if anyone has experienced this ‘adventure’ and if you have, did you feel unsafe at any point? Is it suitable for a fourteen year old who loves sharks? And any other information! We’ve done ‘dive quest’ at Epcot and it was lovely, but this seems better. Many thanks! |

No but I'll be following the thread as sounds like a brilliant thing to do, we've done Divequest also which was brilliant, but very 'fake', be great to do it in the wild.

Please let me know how this goes. We are going in three weeks time and I have booked a trip with Florida shark dives for me and my 15 year old son. We can’t wait to see these animals up close.

Ah this was to be my 50th Birthday present from my DW.
Unfortunately Hurricane Irma decided otherwise! What I would say though is their customer service is excellent. We rescheduled for a few days later but they actually contacted us to say that the storm had driven the sharks out to sea and were not in the areas their boats go so they said it was pointless to come and gave us a full refund.

Thank you for posting this, I had no idea this even existed! I bet it's too expensive but have sent them a message as my husband absolutely loved sharks and this would be an amazing thing for him to do.

I have just booked this for DH and the boys (who are adamant their not using the cage but I think I might win that argument!) I am going to sit in the boat and watch as I don’t do the sea anyway and am a scaredy-cat! Husband is very exited although not convinced that swimming with tiger sharks is the greatest idea!
