Good place to eat close to Manchester Airport

Looking for any good priced and decent food for pre flight evening meal staying at the Clayton the night before.Just 2 adults. Was thinking of just staying at the hotel if we could not find anything suitable. but would be grateful for any suggestions .
Thanks

The Airport Pub is nice, just down the road and next to the runway for plane spotting!
Bit further The Romper is nice.
If still have a car, trip to Trafford Centre? Lots of choice there!

We ate at The Romper and used our Tesco vouchers - it was really nice.

Food at the Clayton is pretty good - they do a sort of meal deal with an overnight stay. Saying that, Romper is my favourite when we stay at Premier Inn (walk to it thro back of airport), don't know directions from Clayton but I think you'll be good at either.

We ate at The Romper last time and really enjoyed it. Nice and close, plus they accept Clubcard vouchers

You can see what we had in the first post of my food report: https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1013966

Yep, the Romper for us too!

Never had a bad meal, reasonably priced and they take the Tesco vouchers too!

We don't go anywhere else now!

We had a great meal at the romper on Saturday night.

We pre booked a table online, the service and food were both excellent.

It was £5 each way in an Uber
