I think it’s really difficult if he doesn’t know what Florida is all about he may love it .
I love Disney and all that goes with it sore feet the heat etc. Husband has done it a few times but now doesn’t.BUT he understands that we love it and I go now with my adult kids and have a ball. He loves visiting places and roughing it not my cup of tea so we do our own thing but also have holidays together. So we both get to do the things we like. |

[QUOTE=VibrantEpiphany;13744517]The plan would be roughly like this. Presidents day happens in the time we are planning so that would be a day to avoid and do a pool or water park. I wouldn't mind visiting a beach or kennedy space centre if my dh wouldn't mind spending more money :-)
Last year one of the ticket sellers, Attraction Tickets Direct, were offering free Kennedy tickets with the Disney 14-day tickets, which would lighten the cost of a trip there (it’s amazing, don’t miss it). You haven’t said what sort of holiday your husband does enjoy. Does he like activity breaks? Beach holidays? You’ll probably find when you’re there you’ll mix up your theme park days with water park or pool time, as it becomes too tiring to do just theme parks in the summer humidity. I think the key to everyone enjoying the trip is to take plenty of rest time, be prepared to change your plans (even if you have an unmissable Fast Pass booked for something) and compromise, so you all get to do what you enjoy. I overplanned when we went and tried to pack something into every minute, and now my husband (who likes to relax on holiday, and hates plans) isn’t keen to go back. |
