Hi sorry I have only just seen this. We stayed at Harrington House at Anna Maria. As there were three of us we had the two bedroomed ground floor accommodation in The Dodt House I think it was Dodt 2. It was a dream of mine to stay right on the beach. We went back the following year for our 25th wedding anniversary and stayed in the Huth beach houses as there was just the two of us. There is a long thread on here about Anna Maria which is really useful for accommodation suggestions. I think it is something like Anna Maria = paradise. We were in Naples for one night and booked the Hilton as we got a good deal. Our base in The Keys was Islamorada as it is half way down The Keys and was a good base for exploring. We stayed at Islander Bayside townhouses which were lovely- we managed to book one of the end ones overlooking the pool and the water. We went in 2014 and were happy with all our accommodation. I got lots of info here on the Dibb when we were planning. Have a great time! 😁

We did a New England cruise last year and Bar Harbor was my absolute favourite place, the little town is so cute, and we visited Acadia National park which was stunning. I said I would love to go back sometime.

I’ve toured 26 States.
I’d say my favourite trips were as follows: Atlanta- Smokies- Savannah/ Charleston - Hilton Head- Atlanta (I actually did Myrtle Beach on that trip as well, but I’d give it a miss as very busy, and stay in Savannah instead). Vegas (only for a few nights, enough)- Flagstaff (day trip from there Grand Canyon South Rim)- Sedona- St George (Zion)- Vegas (1 night for flight back). Washington DC- Rehobeth (also day trip on ferry to Cape May)- Virginia- Washington. Probably in the above order. I’ve been to every Southern Gulf State, also like New Orleans, and San Antonio is very much worth a visit. Also been to many inland. As well as going all along the bottom of USA, ive been nearly all up the Atlantic Coast and about half of the Pacific coast. I will go to every state one day. As above, Panhandle of Florida is beautiful, I stayed in San Destin, but Seaside is wonderful (where they filmed Truman show). Georgia is nice, as well as Atlanta you have the islands like Jekyl and St Simon. We had a great holiday, but I wouldn’t be shooting back to New England, it was enough to visit the area once and it’s very expensive and the weather can be ropey even in summer. Next year we are doing a tour again. That is 3 weeks. We are going to LA, then I’m hoping for 3/4 nights in the DVC at California, then New Orleans as my daughter wants to go and last time she went she was in mum’s tummy so didn’t see much, then Dallas (we have to incorporate some theme parks and Six Flags there is one I haven’t done yet), then drive to Atlantic. I was going to go back to WDW for 4 nights but with annual pass increases we are off to the DVC at Hilton Head instead and will probably fly back from Atlanta. Hilton Head is lovely.
