Any issues with loveholidays.com and similar companies?
Have narrowed down where I want to go for a long weekend in November and Expedia.com/love holidays/teletext are coming up cheaper on line than TA such as TUI and first choice. Looks like alternatives are ABTA/ATOL and flights are either Thomas Cook or Easy Jet but just wondered if there any issues with these companies. Appreciate that TC flights could have an element of risk but having never booked with a “budget” TA just after some reassurance I guess. Would book flights and hotel separately but that works out more

Interested in this as searching via travelsupermarket.com for a week July 5th - 12th, the best results that keep coming back are for loveholidays.com and holidaygenie.com.
I wouldn't have any hesitation in booking with Expedia at all - very large and reputable company. I feel less sure about these other two though! I'm normally risk averse and would just go and book knowing I have credit card protection if it all goes wrong, but as I'm looking only a couple of weeks from now, there's the slight risk that something falls through (bait and switch pricing etc) and I have no time to find an alternative. Anyway, if Expedia is one of your options - go for it. |

I booked accomadation for earlier this year with Love Holidays They were fine , bit useless when I wanted to amend the booking but I just rang back and got someone more competent.
Theyuse Norwegian flights though so make sure you are comparing like for like as you'll need to add on baggage cost to the basic price. EDIT I was thinking Orlando but same applies with easyjet/ryanair for Europe. Edited at 12:19 PM. |

Thanks both-reassuring around Expedia as friend has booked our NY trip with them! Just had another look for my November trip and when I reselected the flights we need the price shot up. Only going for three days so happy with basic luggage allowance
