Jandia Fuerteventura
Has anyone been? Can you walk to little shops/markets/bars or is it just rows of all inclusive hotels?

A few years since we visited but love the area. It’s quite a stretch of beach , and where we were ( Club Magic Life) had nothing around. A lovely 30 mins ish walk along the beach brought you to a cluster of hotels. A few little restaurants and shops around beach area but probably if you went uphill more may be there. Hotels are on the higher levels

Jandia beaches are some of the most beautiful on Fuerteventura, it is geared towards the German/ Scandinavian clientele as oppose to the North of the Island which many of the UK travel companies use.
So you will find a lot of the bars will serve German beers, food and some TVs in the bars will be showing German sports .. we went a couple of years ago and most people spoke to us in German first , then Spanish then English 😃 I’m Blonde , very blue eyed and tan easily so I am easily mistaken for a German / Scandinavian when I travel in Europe. It’s not an issue at all , just a heads up when out and about! |

Love Jandia, went last year and stayed at one of the Iberostar hotels, absolutely beautiful. There is a little shopping centre and also a promenade type set up with shops and restaurants, but quiet and probably one of the quietest resorts on the island. Enjoyed it so much we are going for Christmas this year!
