Been starying here since 1997. Great resort and has expanded a great deal over te years. River island is the best village. Hard sell on time shares but just state no. We use a VIP checkin area now, not sure why, last time just stated i wasn't interested and i knew the complimentary resort update was a sales pitch and i wouldn't be buying. To be fair there are loads of places in Orlando like this now, which is why there are so many nice and big resorts of this quality.

I keep looking at this resort just waiting for prices to come down. Might just go to the timeshare meeting if it with just a rep to wind them up like I do with those annoying tele people

Stayed here last year it was fantastic. we had a 2 bed in the North Village. As for the time share thing at checkin we were given the 'voucher' which had to be validated by the timeshare folks, sure enough after leaving the check in desk was pounced upon by mr timeshare, he said "come with me to get your voucher validated", i said "no i dont want it" and i handed it to him, he tried to argue or plead but i just walked away from him end of story! that would be my advice if you wanted to avoid the timeshare tour dont enter into a discussion!
I know hes got a job to do but I had a holiday to be getting on with!

Yes great location , and lots of good reataurnts right on your doorstep...some areas are bettr thanothers
Avoid the timeshare at all costs and enjoy your holiday!
