Talking Just booked DLP for week before Christmas!

So excited Its my 40th birthday next week and I have just booked to take my 2 children to DLP from 20/12-23/12. It will be our 3rd time visiting and we are staying in Sequoia Lodge. I haven't booked any meal plans yet as I am waiting to see if they change the offer and I might then have a switch around.
Not been to DLP since March 2015, we went to WDW in May 2016 (you may have read my trip report 'Forget about the mouse this is all about the duck'.
This time it is definitely just me and my 2 children, no ex-husband coming like in Florida, they don't know yet... I am off to see Robbie at the weekend and then when I come home I am going to hang our Disney countdown up and wait to see how long it takes to get noticed!
So is there anything I need to know that might have changed since 2015... any differences in fast passes or dinner reservations?
So Excited!

Ooh exciting! We'll be in DLP then too - 18th-23rd Dec (plus the last night in Explorers and then go home on Christmas Eve.) We're not planning to tell the children until we pick them up from school to set off, and even then we're not telling them that their dream of staying in DLH is coming true until we walk into the hotel. Can't wait!

I was also thinking of possibly changing offers if free dining came up, but we really want the Inventions & PG breakfasts, so we're sticking with the two nights free. I think our holiday would have come to about £50 less with free dining, but we'd have lost the hotel breakfast. For us, it was better to get the two nights free and it's well worth £50 extra for the breakfasts.
