Memory maker per person or group
I have purchased memory maker as only going to Disney 3 days.
There are 9 in our group and don’t know how this works for photos on rides. We all have magic bands and all on family group on Disney but memory maker is against my name and I don’t go on some scary rides. Will the others still be able to get their photos on rides via my memory maker or do I have to try and change memory maker to be allocated to person most likely to do all rides. |

Bumping this up. When we went without memory maker the photographers taking photos gave us cards, with references that i guess could be added to the mm account. Not sure whether there might be machines as you come off rides, for you to select your photo and get a card for that photo, and do the same. Hopefully someone who knows will come along and advise.

If Memory Maker is linked to your MDE account and the other 8 people are on your Friends & Family list, I would think that their ride photos would be automatically added even if you’re not on the ride. Their MDE accounts will have their Magic Bands linked so the system should recognise that they have Memory Maker via your account and upload the ride photos/footage. If you want to double check, give the MDE helpline a call on 0800 16 90 749. The other option is that one of the group also wears your Magic Band when they go on a ride-photo ride without you.

First, Memory Maker just provides the ability to download and use any photos linked to your account. Anyone can link photos to their account, whether they have Memory Maker or not. I've had photos uploaded and linked to my account without having Memory Maker at all.
I believe that as long as the other people are linked via Family & Friends to your account that has Memory Maker, then you should be able to download their photos. You need to make sure they and you have set the photo sharing permissions to allow you to access their photos though. Have a look at the following guide to Memory Maker, scrolling down to the section titled "Sharing Memory Maker With Other People": wdwprepschool/how-memory-maker-works/ HTH.
