Saratoga Springs anyone?
Seriously thinking of buying into DVC and a nice lady at Disney has been telling me all about Saratoga Springs.
Has anyone stayed there in a studio, just wondered what its' like and where abouts it is (which park is it near?) Thanks for any info

We own at Saratoga Springs and have stayed there on a few occasions but never in a studio, however, we are going in just over a week and staying in a studio so can let you know how it feels.
Saratoga Springs is beautiful but is missing a full service restaurant, but this is not to much of a problem as it is in very close proximity to DTD. I must admit that I still prefer to stay at the Epcot resorts as Epcot is our favourite resort. Bob

We looked around Saratoga Springs on our last trip - while I love the idea of DVC and we really want to buy in, Saratoga Springs didn't really do it for me - it is just lacking a little atmosphere for me, the rooms are lovely and the location is good for Downtown Disney but it seemed a little sterile, I would prefer to stay at one of the other resorts personally.

We stayed in a studio at Saratoga back in January and loved the resort.
We stayed in the Congress Park area, which put us very close to the pool (about 30 yards from our balcony), close to a bus stop, and within easy walking distance of Downtown Disney. It is a large resort though, which means you can be quite a distance from the main building if that matters to you, but there are internal resort shuttles (which we never used). We liked the studio - it was certainly big enough for two people, but a bit more space might have been nice. Whilst there, we did an add-on, so we can stay in 1-bedrooms as well if we want to, though would have no problems going back to a studio in the future (which is actually what we are planning for a couple of days in December). |
