Blue Heron Beach Resort

I have booked a Disney view apartment in May at the Blue Heron Beach Resort. After a bit of feedback if anyone has stayed recently regarding the park shuttles. Are they any good, worth using ?

Also, i booked via a third party website where i have paid £140 in taxes and fees for 8 nights. Has anyone done this and can they confirm if this includes the resort fee (which is $12.25) per night. I only noticed this when i looked at the actual resort's website...

Any advice much appreciated.

We have always booked through hotelopia when staying there and there was no resort fees with them. I think you should have been told when booking if you had resort fees so check with the company you booked with. We never used park shuttles so can't help there. We loved it there and enjoyed having the two balconies

Just come back from here. It was fantastic, staff amazing and so helpful. Apartments huge, wonderful views. The pool is lovely and warm and the jacuzzi like a hot bath! Can't fault it at all, it was excellent.

The transfers were good but obviously restrictive as they go out at a couple of times in the morning and back a couple of times in the evening. We weren't going to hire a car but we did at last minute and I am glad we did as it is a pain waiting around for buses all the time. They are also very helpful with the transfers, when we wanted to go to places like discovery cove, the transfer only takes you to sea world and you then have to use their bus. The drivers we very good and always took us where we needed to go instead.

2 of the best restaurants we found we also only few minutes walk - Santa Fe across the road and Applebee's just down the road.

As for the resort fee, we booked with ba and it did say there would be an extra resort fee to pay at the hotel, however the hotel said that it was included in our booking so we didn't pay any extra.

Enjoy x
