Trip Report - Day 11 Tuesday 25th June - Last minute holiday

Another sleep in (oops) and we eventually left around 12 to pick up a subway to take into typhoon lagoon, we arrived around 1 and it was open until 8, we planned to stay until closing.

We got on everything as a walk on almost, had a great time there and we both personally prefer TL to BB, the wave pool is fun and we enjoyed floating around the lazy river.

About 6pm out of nowhere the dreaded announcement came that lightning was in the area and the park was temporarily closed, you didn't have to exit the park but everyone had to get out of the water.

Before most people had chance to get out there was the loudest cracking and banging of thunder, people ran out of the water as if there was a shark in there, was quite amusing.

We decided to leave as the darker clouds were now visible, we got in the car wet and picked up a dominoes on the way back to the hotel.

Got showered and watched a film in the hotel room with some drinks, we enjoyed our day.
