DTD hotel advice - possibly Royal plaza
Hi
Can anyone advise us on the best DTD hotel. We would need shuttles running throughout the day to the disney parks as we have 2 very small children. We like the look of the Royal Plaza in particular but would be looking to book a package and having had a search on the TO websites I've not managed to find a package with this hotel. Can anyone advise who we could book this with? Any advice on the other DTD hotels would be brilliant - especially as we want somewhere suitable for the little ones. Thanks Bronny

Does it need to be a package? Can you not book via the hotel website and book your flights separately?

We would prefer a package as it makes life easier but we could book them seperately.

We stayed at The Holiday Inn @ DTD last yr & had a very comfortable stay.
Rooms were very clean, bed so comfortable, staff nice & buses were good. We sometimes got the bus back to SSR & walked back to our hotel from there, about a 20min at most walk. It is only a 5 minute walk to DTD. We would not hesitate to stay here again & DH says I am fussy .

Royal Plaza is lovely we stayed in a pool side room and it was great having a small patio and direct access to the pool. We didn't use shuttles but there seemed to be plenty of them. It's a great location. I don't know if any tour operators do it in a package but I'm sure a good travel agent could package it with flights for you.

We have stayed at the Plaza and found it to be ideal, shuttles etc were going to stay there again this year but Virgin had not confirmed any contracts with them at the time we wanted to book. When we tried to book independantly they told us that they were fully booked with conferances (looking to travel oct/nov) all places we have stayed Hotel plaza boulavard, have had good shuttle services as it is on the same loop.Having stayed elsewhere before with young children i know what you mean happy to help if you need animore info

We stayed at the Wyndham, but walked past the Royal Plaza when we ate out in the evenings at the crossroads and it looked very nice.We booked a package with cosmos and think they offer this hotel aswell. The shuttles were very reliable and 3 or 4 hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard share each bus, they run every half an hour until late.I love this location as its fab to be able to walk to Downtown Disney.

I didn't like the Wyndham very much, the location is good but the rooms were disappointing. I think the tower rooms are supposed to be nicer.
I would compare the prices with the All Stars. I've always found the DTD hotels to be relatively expensive. Travel Republic sell the DTD hotels, and they will do you a package with flights if you want. |

Thank you. Jetsave do a package so I shall be looking to book in April when all the flights are released. I see the hotel is being refurbished too so I think I have decided this is the one for us.
