Dining at Universal

Hiya
I have noticed in someone Itinerary that they have booked and ADR at Universal...how can I get information on character breakfast etc.. at universal and can you call from the uk as with Disney?
Just another question, is there a mode of transport that can get us from AKL to Universal and Seaworld etc..
thanks in advance...I am sooo leaving this planning late...I am normally much more organised !

You can book character meals at Universal up to 30 days in advance, I think the spiderman meal is held in the actual park, but the scooby doo meal is held in one of the 3 Universal hotels on different nights through the week, I am waiting to book our Scooby meal at the kitchen restraunt at the Hard rock hotel, the number I found to call was on the Universal web site -

To answer your question about transport to Seaworld and Universal we got the Disney bus from the resort to DTD and then got a cab from there, about $25 each way if I remember right.
But I do know you can get a lynx bus from the TTC to Seaworld (not sure what the number is though). Also if you want to go to Universal, when you get off the lynx bus at Seaworld, cross the road and get the I Trolley down International drive, someone will know where you get off for Universal, you then just have to walk over the bridge to US.

You can get Mears Transport buses from Disney resorts to Seaworld, Universal etc. just ask at reception. I think its about $10-12 each return.
