The lynx busses are just a normal service bus with lots of stops and very busy. After such a long journey I wouldn't even consider waiting/travelling on a bus.

Maybe look into a private transfer or large uber from the airport straight to your hotel. Last year I was so exhausted and sick from tiredness and pain I wouldn't have coped on a bus after the flight.

If you're husband's still recovering I would try to make the journey as easy and stress free as possible for him. Maybe plan more rest days and downtime on this holiday as well.
