Ive had a lovely day reading your TR and am impressed with how far your kids walked without moaning! I fancied Washington this year and then a road trip down the carolinas but apparently the kids were hard done by last year with no Disney so were back to the DDP and the cocktails! 😊
I didn't like the idea of the fee either, but in the end I decided it was worth it.

The kids did do well with all the walking. They are used to it though and always expect to do a lot of walking on holiday.

I hope you enjoy your Frose this summer

What a fabulous travel day. I think the club lounge was a mini holiday in itself. Awesome and well done you all trying everything out in the name of research. Flight looked just perfect.
And great that you got everything in the hand luggage. I dream of doing this one day !

It certainly was a mini holiday and we sure made the most of it! The flight was perfect, it was great to be able to stretch out and have loads of room.

How did I not know you had a BA Amex card!? I have a Tesco Clubcard Credit card and I get my points transferred to Avios, I've been doing that for about 6 years and it hasn't really proved worth it. I should probably have gone for Amex but knowing that some places don't take them put me off.

We have that Hidden Magic of WDW book!

Max posing for photos for you in the BA Lounge cracked me up. You definitely made the most of the lounge, it was a lovely treat for you to fly business. The food portions on the plane look massive!

If our October trip goes to plan we'll be flying to MCO from WI.

We managed to get lots of points with Amex via the referring each other for a card every 6 months. This worked really well for us, but this has now changed and so while I can easily spend the 10,000 to earn the 241 voucher I'm going to struggle to get enough points. The October trip to Toronto is a reward flight trip. Not business this time though, but PE which we've never done before so that will be fun. (Hopefully...you know I'm not giving up hope for August so you can't give up hope for October, not yet anyway.)

I had so much fun in the lounge. I know it's silly as it's basically just a buffet but it was so exciting! Max really did well with his posing didn't he?

I'd forgotten I'd been reading that hidden magic book. It was great and has a high re-readability factor I think as I'm sure I won't remember all the little things to look out for and I'm so keen to put some of it into practice.
