Shopping online yes or no!

I am not sure if shopping online is allowed, I have ordered handwash and a jacket but felt like I shouldn’t of. There are shops selling online, lots are offering free delivery but we are only supposed to buy Essentials so what’s the right thing? I thought maybe getting some plants to put in pots but am not sure what to do? What are others doing thanks x

You're only supposed to leave the house for essentials. Online delivery has no restrictions and most are doing contactless delivery.

My local garden centre is keeping going by offering free delivery of all they sell... phone orders, and the tea shop down the road is now doing takeaways and has extended into 7 day meal plans... had a lovely afternoon tea from them a couple of weeks ago...
I have ordered from amazon, a board game, and Hotel chocolat for Easter goodies...
If it’s helping a business stay afloat then rightly or wrongly I’m happy to order from them...

I’m shopping online so that I don’t need to leave the house. Deliveries are left on the doorstep.

I’m not shopping unnecessarily and I’m trying to be mindful.

I’ve been pondering same thing. My middleDD seems to have outgrown all her pyjamas at the moment (except the Primark xmas pair which are falling apart). Next online is closed but i’ve seen some on the George@Asda site, so might order from there.

It’s my sons birthday next week and I’ve ordered him presents. Given that his party, weekend camping and few other things we had planned around now have all been cancelled I still want to celebrate his birthday.

We still need businesses to be around after this is all over and while not excessively buying I think ordered some stuff online it’s absolutely fine.

I think shopping online is actually quite a good idea, it keeps these companies going in what must be their toughest times ever!
I had a delivery and they put parcel on doorstep then sit back in van when I open door they too a photo of door open with parcel there.
(Not of me thank the Lord in my Disney PJs)

Sandra I’ve been having the same dilemma. I’ve sent some Easter gifts via Amazon as we have prime and have also ordered a couple of things for us, but they aren’t essential. Not sure what to do for the best, it’s tricky isn’t it?

My delivery lady who seems to bring most of my parcels seems less than pleased at delivering, am I risking these people’s lives or keeping them in a job? I usually put Petunias, Bizzie Lizzes, pretty flowers in pots but not sure if I should or not. 🤷
