I debated long and hard, but then read a plea from some local businesses asking us to order from them - a local garden centre is delivering plants and pleaded with people to order or they would need to be thrown. I have tried to order stuff locally where possible, or if from Amazon then obviously UK companies. I have ordered birthday presents for my daughter, but also bought a pond - then ordered pond plants and non pond plants. I am not going mad. I only go out to shop when I need food - but sometimes then also pick up some other items (a football, bubbles, fence paint), don't see that as a problem as again I am there anyway.

On my theory going out to buy essentials, but staying in doing the right thing, online ordering is fine. It keeps the drivers in their jobs and the companies ticking over. I bought all my easter eggs via thorntons this year Nd speaking to the staff on the phone they said they have sold more this year by online ordering then they ever have.
