We’ve just started watching After Life on Netflix. We are only 2 episodes in but are really enjoying it.

I just spotted this thread. We loved Banshee, The Leftovers and Justified.

We've just started watching Sons of Anarchy. We love it, still on season 1, only seen about 6 episodes, but given the other shows mentioned then you might like this. It's on Netflix.

We also watched True Detective a couple of years ago, can't remember what that was on though.

Also, if you like Timothy Olyphant, you might want to give Deadwood, which we thought was brilliant, or Santa Clarita Diet a go. So, Deadwood is older and you can guess it's about frontier land. Fairly well known so you've probably seen it. Santa Clarita is a comedy zombie show. Brilliant again.

We also loved Banshee & The Leftovers.
During lockdown we’ve watched loads but really enjoyed the following:

Hanna on Amazon Prime; an extraordinary girl hiding from the world

Unorthodox on Netflix- a married woman escaping life in an ultra orthodox Hasidic Jewish community; mix of English & subtitles (Yiddish)

Gangs of London on Sky- drama re present day rival gangs of London; Gangs & Banshee are from the same network and it tells-Banshee had violent scenes but not a patch on those in Gangs of London; some real look away now if you’re squeamish moments 😳

I'll add in:

The Righteous Gemstones on Sky - comedy/drama with John Goodman.

The Looming Tower - about the feud between the FBI and CIA in the leadup to 9/11. Was really good. On Amazon Prime.

Not sure if this counts as it’s hidden because it’s a golden oldie but I’ve just downloaded Michael Palins Around the World in 80 days. Fantastic travel documentary especially watching people trying to solve problems on the go with a mobile phone or laptop

My first ever binge watch. I got that series on DVD (or more probably VHS) for Christmas and watched the entire thing on the Boxing Day. I loved it and will rewatch it anytime.

I loved it first time round, don’t know what made me look for it this week. And then rewatching it discovered he departed on 25 Sept 1988, exactly 20 years before my youngest was born
