Yes but I’m not sure where the official information is regarding this. When I do a dummy booking on VH for a fly drive for Sept 21 I can book from Friday to Saturday. So if I were to book that now presumably I would be contacted at some point to be told I had to change?

Following this post, as im in a similar position I have next october 2021 booked. Flying glasgow the friday return 15 nights later on a Saturday night. A change in dates is hugely problematic with work who are not flexible, so slightly concerning.

I take it that is through either a travel agent or virgin holidays?
Virgin Atlantic only releases flights 11 months in advance, so whilst you can book with a travel agent, they don’t actually have flights information until November at the earliest, they hold your booking until they can match it to a flight, then you would get notification of change

Yes it was through Virgin Holidays directly and yes noted about the flights situation 11 months ahead. Was keeping an eye when the seating plan was released !
Daft question regarding this : I have booked October 2021 15 nights away at present. depart a Friday and return a saturday night into sunday morning. Would it have to be as little as 13 nights or could you still extend it. So for instance fly out Wednesday 6th October return Friday 22nd ? so obviously isnt 13 nights or my original 15 nights but a wee bit more. Then wonder would Virgin offer this. |

It’s on the Virgin Atlantic website, if you do a dummy booking for the beginning of April next year & select flexible dates it gives you the outbound & inbound flights... VH website hasn’t quite caught up with it yet

Booking with Virgin or BA means you can make your trip as long or short as you wish so it doesn't have to be a set amount of time like Tui who use a completly different system. So, for example, if you wanted a longer trip you can customize it - lots of Dibbers do. As you already have a booking for Oct 2021 and wanted to amend it you would need to call Virgin to see what the cost would be.

It wasn’t letting me do flexible dates for some reason. I think I’ll tweet them.

Me too! I posted this on another thread but I tweeted VA to ask about the Glasgow route. They say from the 2nd January they’ll be flying GLA-MCO on Saturdays. Sure enough, if you look at January there’s a Saturday direct flight. It doesn’t seem to show that in April though.
