BA Refunded My Seat Reservations

Hi

I applied for a refund voucher for Deposit for holiday and seat bookings.
I received Voucher for deposit but not seat bookings which i was given a link to complete online separately.
I was under impression voucher issued would include all this but no.

I spoke to BA who came back to me and told me that i should have had a voucher for all the payments and that i should not have been instructed to complete further seating cancellation forms.

I was then contacted by a lady at customer service who said she would be happy to refund seat payments onto a voucher or refund in money to cards used to pay.

About a week later these refunds are showing on my credit card balances.

Boo to BA for cocking up the original seat refunds but hurrah for me for querying it and a big hurrah for BAs twitter account for getting this sorted for me.

Great news for you 💰💰I’m still waiting for our seat refund been over 2 months now, I filled in email & via Twitter where they said they’ll sort refund when I enquired why it’s taking longer than the BA package refund they said different teams deal with different things 😫

Just literally had email refund for seats back in 7-10 days
