Thank you.
The flight that is shown on our booking was amended to leave from LHR and doesn’t even show as an actual flight on virgin’s website.
Sadly having now read all the complaints about appalling customer service with jetabroad I don’t think we will see any of our monies being returned. Plus they are charging 400 Australian dollars for every trip that is cancelled by the airlines.

Our flight (which was going via New York) does not exist on Virgin's website. So it isn't cancelled as it never existed in the first place!

That’s what ours said on Saturday then the cancellation email arrived on Monday morning. Rather than logging into your booking if you use the ‘flight status’ check on VA website you’ll see if your flight is still showing or not. Try the link below, however, they are only showing indirect flights from Glasgow on June 13th.

They won't announce any cancellations until a few weeks beforehand to stop people claiming a refund. Virgin have already said that they wont resume flights until August so they should already have cancelled all of June and July flights and be funding people if you asked for one. Virgin need all the cash from all the cancelled flights to try and keep going so are illegally delaying refunding people in the mean time.

Thanks - that's really helpful. Our flight doesn't show up on there, so hopefully I can expect a cancellation email soon.

My DD was booked on this flight due to start her Disney Cultural Exchange Programme for the summer.
She received notification from travel agent STA Travel this week that flight was cancelled.
Others on the programme who had booked the same flight with Delta had been informed 2 or 3 weeks previously that it had been cancelled

To be fair, Virgin Holidays have on their website that all holidays until the 12th July are cancelled. Virgin Atlantic say to check your flight on flight status and if it’s not showing it’s cancelled.

I seen my flight disappeared on Saturday and got my holiday cancelled on Sunday and refunded before anything was on the website.

So if the flights not showing it’s been cancelled, which is all flights until mid July. Have a look on Virgin Atlantic’s twitter feed for confirmation.

That’s being said yes the refund timescales are tactical in my opinion as well and that’s after you have been able to get contact and get the process started

We were to fly out on the 11th July and received our email on Monday of our flight being cancelled.

I was going in August, we went through travel bag, we had a code share with the main ticket holders virgin.
2 weeks ago I checked my app, the flight had gone, contacted Travel bag, the flight had been cancelled. No email or notification at all, these flights cost me £3545.

Virgin wont reply to me, told me to go through Travel bag, Travel bag have issued a refund request but nothing happening, no notifications or anything.
I will never go through a 3rd party again after this.
