Ultrasun Sun Cream

I usually buy boots own and P20 but find that the P20 really stains clothes so looking into an alternative and read good things about Ultrasun.

Does anyone use this and what is your opinion?

Tia

Took a big pump of the family spf30 this year, on 1st thing and would top up if we had a morning at the pool or water park. No burning and no staining, would highly recommend

It’s good, I have some nasty allergies to other sunscreens but not to Ultrasun. Just make sure it’s well rubbed in it goes further than it looks. It doesn’t smell much and hasn’t stained my clothing. Even the aftersun is nice to use. Usually I break out in a nasty rash anywhere the sun touches but it’s been a rare occurrence when I use Ultrasun. That’s a good thing because I’m not covered in blisters or feeling itchy. I would say if you get wet reapply ASAP just like any other sunscreen. No complaints from me with this range.

I use it and really like it. I’ve used it for maybe 3 years now. I have very fair skin that burns easily and I’ve never burned with it. Used it in Florida and Abu Dhabi so 2 different climates.
I put it on in The morning and that does me. Sometimes if it’s really hot and I’m still out I might spray on something else just in case.
The only thing is, and it’s nothing to do with this suncream, I always get really really bad breakouts on my chin in the sun and this still happens with this. I haven’t a clue how to stop this.

We're ultrasun fans too. We use the factor 50 as we're fair and burn easily (apart from DH) and have had no problems with it, plus it doesn't stain. I do still use P20 if we're going swimming though as it's oily formula makes it much more water resistant and have never burnt using it.

We’ve used Ultrasun for the past few years. Never had any issues with it and as other have said it doesn’t stain like P20 does.

The face sunscreen is also good and DH uses it on his head too.

Always buy it from QVC when it’s a Today’s Special Value.

Yes, it’s more expensive but well worth it not to burn.

I have read that people haven’t had good experiences with it but as long as you put it on and give it time to absorb then it’s fine. We usually give it a good 20-30 minutes before sun exposure.

Can’t comment on Ultrasun as never used it but we use Calypso once a day and have done for years. Very easy to put on and absorbs very quickly. If using the pool a lot I do tend to put it on again but “normal’ day to day sun worshipping once a day is fine. Very good price too.

I’ve used it for about 4 years. I’m a fair red head and I’ve not burnt with it on. I also used to get heat rash but don’t anymore! My son isn’t as fair as I am. We use the family factor 30. I also have a 50 for my face. I take a 400ml bottle for application in the room in the morning, and a 100ml bottle in my bag! Highly recommend.

My son has to be careful as his medication puts him at high risk of skin cancer so now we buy the factor 50 sports spray for him. He hates the feel of cream and I know he would avoid applying it where as the spray he will use more willingly. I also buy the face cream which we all use and can recommend.
