Just checked the Disney site again - Yacht Club and Wilderness Lodge are now available for our dates but they weren’t showing yesterday! Guess I’m going to have to be patient!

Is the celebration basket only available if you book direct or are some third party travel agents adding it

We booked through ATD back in February 🙂
Its probably that then, its a standard room. Shame but can't justify the extra on the room for the little extra dining money.

I completely agree! If we had had to pay for the dining credits there'd be no way it's a good enough deal. It was a total fluke we booked an eligible room. So I understand why you don't want to upgrade.

In case this is helpful to anybody, this is what VH told me about my existing booking and the new offers:

I spoke to someone at my local VH store who was able to quote me for the same dates and initially came up with a cheaper package (at ASMo rather than Pop C) with the dining credits and spending money, but I was told that I'd have to cancel my booking and lose my deposit if I wanted to re-book with the new Disney offer (which doesn't tie in with their current 'flexible booking' policy?..)

Then I was told that they could transfer my deposit over but I'd have to change my dates, which then meant that the flight price went up. I was also told (by a different VH employee) that we'd have to change dates and pay an admin charge of £50pp...

All a bit confusing but basically the difference in price was more than the amount we'd gain in dining credits etc in a value resort so it just didn't work for us - but glad I checked!

I think it’s only for bookings with Disney Direct 😊

Thank you! That’s annoying 😞! Random how some travel agents are offering and others aren’t!

It’s so nice that so many of us are once again booking our Disney holidays 😊
Will anyone be buying the refillable mugs with the dining credit? I think we will 😀
