So how do we get a test?

Morning all
Tried looking through the now VERY long chat re the ban lifted but couldn't find it.

As we need to take covid test 3 days before we travel there where do we get these tests from?

Also, do we need to take one three days before we travel home? If so, again where do we get this from?

I live alone so arriving home is not a problem for any other reasons.

(now to try and find direct flights from Gatwick)

Thank you

Any of the companies that do fit to fly tests. Apparently from October you don't need a test to fly home if you are vaccinated?

Airlines will not contact you about tests, it’s the passenger’s responsibility, and all the info is available online on various websites.

Wow so if you’re like me and live in Norfolk, there’s absolutely no where that does them, so it means a 144 mile trek to how I understand it , pick up a test , I guess I’d have to do the test in my car , and then drop it back off there and then and drive home to be sure I’d get the results back in time , or risk doing it by post , either way still a 144 mile drive .

Surely there must be an easier way ?

Jules

No, I think it's within 3 days of leaving for Orlando.

There are loads of test providers, look for one near you. Some have drop off points ect.
