Holiday Treats and Tours
We have booked a Christmas treat today, we are going on the Universal Holiday Tour on the 20th December. The tours last about 5 hours and you are in the parks after they close.
for $75 (including tax) per person you are taken around in small groups (no more than 15 people) and get to experience... a guided tour through Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, including looking in detail at the Christmas Trees. Sip hot cocoa and eat cookies with the Grinch and meet Santa in IoA. Including Photos Snag reserved spots for both the Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s AND The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular— plus get an exclusive on-stage holidays Q&A with the Whos. An exclusive after-hours showing of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts™ Castle - yes you get Hogmeads to yourself, well with all the other groups but almost to yourself. We love the Universal tours and are really looking forwarded to this one

Lights... Trees and Earl the Squirrel
Some of the other things we now have planned, this "restful and not doing anything holiday" is getting very busy..
We have Lights We are off to Give Kids the World "Night of a Million Lights". I love Christmas lights and to be able to see some amazing displays whilst raising money for charity is a great way to spend an evening. We have Trees We are planning to do both the Holiday Tree Stroll at Disney Springs and the "Holiday Tree Hunt" at Universal (this one has a $9.95 charge for a map) . Yes they are ways to get you in to shops, we don't need too much help with that but I am looking forward to seeing the theming. And we have Earl the Squirrel Earl is the Universal Icon for the Holidays and we can't wait to try and spot him in real life and I am keen to get an Earl mug for my Universal Mug collections

So here we are in the last couple of days before travel and I am up to my eyes in sorting out tests and Mr W and I have come to an agreement...
He won't ask daft questions about testing and whether it is all needed, and I won't end up shoving a Lateral Flow Test where they are not designed to go. I am already dreaming of another sort of travel next week. I finish work tomorrow and then it is lots of jobs like charging the kindle, checking the passport for the millionth time and ensuing everything is printed out and ready to go. See you on the other side

Have a fantastic time. Once you're there all the stress of testing will evaporate and you'll have a blast.
