I’m feeling excited now. After having to rearrange 3 times I didn’t plan anything for this trip because I didn’t expect it to happen, then when I realised it is going to go ahead felt really down because nothing was properly planned however managed to some how make reservations for a character dining and for be our guest so now I’m starting to feel buzzing

Booked our Universal Holiday Tour today, this is our first (and probably only) Christmas and I am going to make the most of it.

The Grinch of my life is happy to go along with it - I think the private Hogmeads visit won him over

I’ve looked at that and I might of got myself confused. It says to allow up to 5 hours, so does it take 5 hours to do? The only time slot is 5pm so are you in after the park closes or will we be booted out at closing time? I’ll also have a 4 year old so a bit concerned with the time

From what I've read, 5pm is meet and greet ahead of getting to the exclusive Macy Parade area. There are regular breaks and shopping time built in, including the exclusive time in Tribute Store and Hot Chocolate Bar in IoA. There is also the Who-ville show and Q and A so time to sit down.

You are there after the parks close and have exclusive after hours light show in Hogsmeads, so 5 hours sounds about right.

There is a lot to do in 5 hours but doesn't sound rushed

We really wanted to do this after watching I think an All Ears video of it from last year and it looked well worth it. Unfortunately it's only on twice while we're there and we can't make it work so hopefully next year when we're there in more of December. I hope you and your Grinch will love it!

I somehow managed to get another night at GFV this morning so now we check in on New Years Day for 3 nights instead of 2!

I was just wondering if any of us are on the same plane going out? I am LHR to MCO on the 14th Dec at 12.30.
