Virgin A350 upper class - couple seating

Hi all,

I have managed to upgrade my flights to upper class, does anyone have any experience of the aircraft for flying as a couple?

The 2 seats in the middle I guess are best but they are angled away from each other, is it easy to talk to each other?

There are not any perfect seats for a coupe on the A350 - I would say facing may be better . None of which you can talk to your partner as they are all enclosed booths - you may have to decant to the loft space for a chat

DH and I are flying UC in April and have decided in 2 seats by the windows… we came to the conclusion in the middle we still wouldn’t be able to snuggle so opted for a booth with a view each … will end up throwing pop corn at each other over the side lol

We are flying UC next year and have gone for window seats as the 2 middle seats didn’t look that easy to actually talk to each other in!
I watched a few You Tube reviews and they all pretty much recommended the window seats!

I was in the seats on Wednesday. If you want to talk to your partner, definitely opt for the pair in the middle. Although they do face away from each other slightly, it isn’t too bad and you can still chat and see each other.
We sat in 2 window seats, one behind the other as I wanted to see out when we landed, but could have zero conversation with him from in my seat. In the old ones we could see over the top of the suite to chat if we sat upright enough but with these you are too far away from them.

Hi - I've flown numerous times in Virgin UC and as others have said the seats are designed to be almost enclosed capsules so you can't easily talk with anyone. That in mind I would always recommend the window seats as the central ones you have people walking behind and in front of you. You do have a small second seat so you can join each other for dinner etc or go to the sofa area to chat and have a drink.

They are the old upper class seats. The new A350 seats the op is asking about have been completely redesigned. You now face forward, have no ottoman seat and don’t have the aisle either side of the middle ones.
