Travelling from scotland

I’m so worried I don’t have everything I need to travel. Am I right in thinking 2 fully vaccinated adults need the declaration form (printed and signed?) and proof of vaccination (I have the app and also uploaded to the french app), and then day 2 after getting back a lateral flow test? I book this , get a code and fill in passenger locator form? Can I do this at home and print it before I go?
Sorry I have read the gov sites but I’m so worried I get it wrong I’m wishing we had just left it to next year.

You can only do the passenger locator form within 48 hours of return so you cant fill it in before you go.

Everything else you stated is good though.

So long as you can do it within two days of your return, it makes no difference when you book it.

Don't panic! I was the exact same travelling from Scotland 2 weeks ago but it was all really smooth and easy in the end. You have done everything correctly but the Passenger locator form is to get back into the UK and you do that out there 48hrs before you land. I printed a copy of my vaccination certificates just to be sure but also had the app. You just need your covid day 2 test reference number to enter on the PLF form to return to UK. It will be sooo worth it to get away. I am so glad I did it.
