This is the first post on any forum where I’ve seen anyone even discussing it. As FB is usually awash with comments on release day I guess it’s a miss for lots.
I wonder how John Lewis’ Twitter alerts has been this year?! (in America )
Maybe he’s changed his name after his phone going nuts every Xmas?!

I do like Aldi’s Ebanana Scrooge though!

I agree - loved the Disney stepdad one. Last year my favourite was the McDonald one with the teenager who has an inner chold (I even got emotional over that as I have sulky teenagers myself).

Didnt care for the JL one at all this year sadly - I used the think they did the best ones but everyone else have now upped their game.

On a similar note.
Just seen marks and Spencer’s Christmas ad. Which apparently was the first in a series leading upto Christmas Day.
As soon as I saw Percy pig running around the first thing coming into my mind was the final advert will be pigs in blankets. Much to the families disgust.
Has anyone else thought this as well.

My favourite so far is the Aldi advert featuring Ebanana Scrooge. Seems more light hearted and ‘traditional’ Christmas setting.

Outrage on Twitter about the Tesco one- people complaining about Santa showing a COVID passport to get in!
People saying they will stop shopping at Tesco because of it- great, makes it safer for everyone else! ( wait til they find out Santa isn’t real , and neither are COVID passports at the moment!)

I’ve just seen this and its great. Some trivia:
- The radish kicking a ball (Marcus Radishford) is Marcus Rashford
- Just in the beginning - in the background check out Cuthbert the caterpillar being led away in handcuffs (a jibe at the legal proceedings between M&S and Aldi over Colin/Cuthbert)
