Scottish travellers - 2 day test

Hi,
Can I ask where everyone booked through? 2 vaccinated adults so it’s the lateral flows? Is it easy enough to do and get results back?

We used Testing for all, the tests cost £19 each.

You do the test yourself, so you see the result yourself more or less straight away. To be honest, it is mainly about having a reference number for your passenger locator form.

DH ended up coming home early and his test had not been despatched so he didn’t do it within two days and there wasn’t follow up. (He did it eventually when the test arrived in the post).

So do you just go online and put your results in yourself or do you send test back?

You go online and upload a photo of the test. A bit later they will email back and confirm whether it is positive or negative, but you will already know this as you can see for yourself.

But as mentioned, if you don’t do the test at all, nothing will happen. You need to buy one because you need in to get back into the country, but otherwise it seems a bit pointless.
