First time in ages that there was a final 4 in which my wife and I were happy to see any of them win. Although last night's episode was rather spoiled by Sky's series link randomly disappearing (for the second time in this series) so we missed the first half of the episode. (H decided that if we didnt watch the second half live there was no way she was managing to get through today without seeing the winner).

A bit late now, but did anyone else have random sound issues in the cutaways where Noel / Matt were speaking about the contestant's plan? Throughout this series it randomly goes quiet for a word or two during those segments (but never anywhere else or on other programes)

I didn't notice any sound issues, but we did find the Sky series link disappeared before the semi-final. (Luckily, I spotted it and reset it.) I don't blame you for watching it last night anyway, we did the same to avoid spoilers.

Should some one mark this as a spoiler alert? Just popped on to see what peoples thoughts were and first thing I saw was who had won. Not watched it yet. Thanks

There is a way to post spoilers so that people reading can choose to click on them or not. Perhaps, that's not common knowledge? I agree a spoiler alert would be good here.

I stay away from these threads until I've finished watching the whole of any series (been burnt too many times!), just in case (and I've removed this forum from my Forum Spy, in case that helps).

But it was the final last night? Surely if you want to watch it at a later date you have to take responsibility for your decision and stay away from social media and the radio/television. You can't just demand media blackout until you manage to watch it!

I agree that after a program has aired it’s fine to talk about it. I don’t normally click on a thread until I’ve watched the latest episode.

I agree. Didn’t watch it until earlier as my skybox decided not to record it last night, and +1 was already 30mins in when I went to watch it . I have kept away from everything to make sure I didn’t see the result. Certainly wouldn’t have clicked on this thread.

The right one won but like others have said I would have been happy to see any of the final 4 win. Really talented, and likeable, contestants.

I have avoided this thread (plus various other media) all day so as to not see the result as we planned to watch tonight. Just finished and very happy with the winner.

Ohhh I blamed my dh for deleting my series link! Maybe it wasn’t him after all if others had the same issue 😳 He kept apologizing to me, oops 😂
