Is cash needed?

I fly out on Monday and plan to get an Uber to and from the airport so that will be done through the app. It did make me wonder. Would I actually need any Euros while I am out there? I know most places prefer card payments thanks to covid and I don't get charged fees from my bank.

I have always previously just used cash on holidays but it just kind of came to me today that I might not actually need it.

Also if I didn't take any and changed my mind, are there ATM machines at Disney?

There are. We mostly used our Halifax Clarity card everywhere.

I would always take about £50-£100 in local currency just in case where ever I was in the world.

We took around €300 as we prefer cash and you can’t seem to add a tip on to your card in restaurants like here.
We also took a credit card with no charges abroad for bigger purchases but had no issue using cash anywhere.

Cheers everyone. I have got a bit which should hopefully cover tips and odd bits. Really struggled to find an open place to get travel money! That will teach me for leaving it till the last minute

We’ve been here 4 days and the card machines everywhere have gone down twice, leading to massive queues at the cash points. For that reason alone, I would definitely recommend having some emergency cash - at least enough to get lunch if you’re not on the meal plan.
