When you complete this form you have to enter the code of the test you will take when you get back so even if you can get an express test somewhere how does that work with the code you have to enter ?

You need to book one or order one before you go, so you have a reference.

Is an express test a walk up? If so, these will presumably be for the way out. It won�t work for coming back, you need to book and pay for a test in order to get a reference number for the PLF. No reference, no flight.

Thanks for the replies, I obviously didn't explain fully our position.
I believe in DLP you can get a PCR Test the day you leave and get the results some 12-24 hours later. We leave on the 22nd December by Eurostar so if we get the test that day and complete the form the same day would DLP reference be good enough if indeed there is one ?
Same position re flying if you arrange a test at the airport when you arrive so you dont have to wait for the results how do you complete the form ?

Things are changing at the moment, but I understood the PLF requires you to take the test after you arrive back in the UK, not before you set off. So I would not do the test in DLP, but rather book one for your return.

I don�t understand your second question regarding �when you arrive�. When you arrive where? What results and form are you referring to? Is this a French thing, if so, that must be new too.

You need to book the test & have the code for the PLF.
so do the test once you get back as you need to isolate while you wait for the results.

Apologies for the misleading statement.
My point was I have read that a lot of people are planning to take a PCR Test as soon as they arrive back in UK ie an express test to alleviate the time they have to self isolate, is this something you book before you go ?
