Volunteering ideas for teen

Hi

My ds is a scout and needs to spend a day volunteering. I'm asking the scouts for ideas, but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on what he could do - bearing in mind covid! - and we are kent based.

Many thanks

I am a volunteer on a WhatsApp group for our village to clear littering our village green/recreation ground as occasionally people leave litter after picnics etc.

We all had to be supplied with gloves, a hoop for holding rubbish bags and a picker device.

We also had to read and sign a health and safety document.

I am aware this sounds over the top but your son would need to be aware of all this stuff.

Thank you - I think our local council can lend the picker device. Other bits I suppose we can supply a but I might get in touch with the council!
